Agenda for today:

~ Reply to this post with your favorite, yet useful site for all of us to use. It must be something we could all benefit from. For example- a free font web site, animated gif library, etc. Make sure you give us the url address so we make create links on our own blogs.

~ Your blog will be seen by everyone today and tomorrow so we can critique each other’s blogs and improve them. Please finish the following today:

  1. Create at least 3 categories for your blog- for posts and for links.
  2. Add 2 links to other websites for each category
  3. Create an introduction page to your blog. State what your blog is about, it’s purpose, what you hope to achieve with your blog and add 1 or 2 photos there too.
  4. Create a podcast for your intro page! Write a script to record today…welcome to “blog name”……hope you find it helpful, interesting, it is about…..etc.
  5. You will then come to me to record this and we will try to post them to my blog today and Friday.
  6. If you finish with all of that! Go to Webmonkeys for kids and begin reading all of the lessons.

Yesterday you practiced how to upload your photos to your blog and create links to pictures and text. You should be an expert at it by now!

Step 1: make a FREE account
Step 2: Save an image you like on “paint” (start, all programs, accesories, paint)
Step 3: Click “browse” and look through your saved images until you find the one you want, then select it and click okay
Step 4: click upload, and watch your image load for like 6 hours on these computers
Step 5: Click on the thumbnail of the image ONCE
Step 6: Right-click and copy the image to wherever you want to post it
Step 7: Edit where you want it on the post on your blog
Step 8: If you want to post the image on a forum or something, (does not apply to blogs) copy and paste the IMG tagline below the thumbnail on the screen where you browse your total set of images to where you want it on the post.
